Chiddingstone Castle is available for exclusive hire for all kinds of events and celebrations, large and small for individuals and corporates.

Whether you’re planning a big birthday party, a life celebration, a family gathering, somewhere to host a board meeting, awards do, or a corporate away day we have a variety of individual rooms that can be hired to meet your requirements. For larger private events we also offer exclusive hire of the castle and grounds.

If you are searching for a venue under difficult circumstances whilst grieving and looking for a suitable place to hold a celebration of life - our team are on hand to support you help guide you through.

Our prices start from £55pp with a minimum of 20 guests. Individual rooms available.

Exclusive Hire starts from £1600.

Opening Hours

CASTLE, COLLECTIONS & TEA ROOM

The Castle, Tea Room and Gift Shop are open Thursday to Sunday from 12 March to 1 November 2026. Except when closed for private events.

PARKING IS CHARGED ALL YEAR ROUND

Parking is free for the first hour, then charged at £1 for up to 2 hours or £3 for the full day (+20p Ringo fee).

GROUNDS AND LAKE

Open daily 7am - 6.30pm except when closed for private functions
