Country and Food Fair

Sunday 8th September 2019

Open 11am to 5pm

Join us in our beautiful grounds for a fun-filled day of traditional (and the odd “quirky”) country activities.

On the day you can shop from a wide variety of stalls, spectate at the side saddle demonstration, dog show/racing, take part in the children’s cookery workshops or try your hand at fishing with the Edenbridge Angling Society there to help with hints and tips.  (All equipment will be provided and you never know you might get hooked!)

Why not bring your dog along to enter in to any of the six classes of the dog show or the terrier racing.  If feathered friends are more your thing bring your favourite chicken to take part in the chicken races.  (Chickens must be in a handheld cage and owners are responsible for their birds at all times.)

The fair will finish on a high with the family giant woolsack race, which always provides heaps of entertainment.

The castle will be open and the price of admission will be reduced for the day so don’t miss the opportunity to see the fascinating collections of Japanese, Ancient Egyptian, Buddhist, Stuart and Jacobite artefacts.

Entry is £6 for adults, £2 for children (5-13) and under 5’s FREE.  Family ticket (2 + 2) is £15.  Please bring cash for payment on entry.
