Calling all budding artists! Meet children’s book illustrator Pete Williamson and learn to draw your favourite characters. In Pete’s morning workshop (10.00-11.00) he will demonstrate how he creates his children’s book illustrations, focusing on his drawings for the much-loved Stitch Head series to show - with the help of the audience - how he goes about creating his funny, brilliant and spooky characters.
In Pete’s afternoon workshop (3.00-4.00) Pete will chat about Skeleton Keys, his exciting new collaboration with Guy Bass and will show how he goes about inventing the peculiar, hilarious ‘unimaginary friends’ that populate the books. Come along, join in and stretch your imagination as far as it will go. Materials provided. Suitable for ages 7+
