Join our panel of first-time authors as they discuss their stories, their inspiration and their road to publication with writer and reader Cathy Rentzenbrink. Elizabeth Macneal’s The Doll Factory is an historical novel set in 1850s London; an intoxicating story of art, obsession and possession which won the Caledonia Novel Award 2018. Harriet Tyce is a former barrister and Blood Orange is her bold, provocative thriller set in the law courts where the lawyers are as flawed as their clients. Actor Richard Lumsden’s hero is 117-year-old Billy Binns, whose story is a bitter-sweet reflection on his life and loves, spanning the last century.
