Group Visits

Group visits may be organised by prior arrangement for a minimum of 15 people from Sundays to Wednesdays, inclusive, during our open season, and on any day except Saturdays from October until Easter. Our usual opening times apply.

For groups of over 15 people the entrance price to the Castle is £6.  By prior arrangement a guided tour may be booked at a rate of £40 per guide (maximum numbers of 30 per guide).  The tour will last for approximately an hour, and our tearoom and shop will also be open.  Please note that the maximum number for a guided tour is 30 per group, due to the restriction in size of some of the rooms.  For larger numbers we can arrange more than one tour per visit.

For an extra charge, we can serve a lunch of hot or cold sandwiches as well as cream teas, and a selection of locally produced cakes in our very reasonably priced tearoom.

 Any catering requirements for groups must be prebooked.

Our car park has ample space for buses and cars and we open the gate through to Chiddingstone Village (parts of which date back to the 15th Century), for visitors to explore and enjoy St Mary’s Church, the village shop and the Castle Inn.
