The Castle

The Castle

Chiddingstone Castle has Tudor origins, Victorian rooms and was rebuilt in the 1800s to resemble a medieval castle.

The Grounds

With breathtaking views of the Greensand Ridge below the North Downs, Chiddingstone Castle sits in 35 acres of Kent countryside.

The Tea Room

Situated in the old Buttery and in a sheltered Grade II listed courtyard. Just the place for traditional afternoon tea.

The Gift Shop

We sell locally made cards and produce, local history books, second hand books and collectables.

Fishing

Our lake covers around 3.5 acres and is naturally stocked with Carp, Bream and Perch and is used by responsible fishermen all year round.
