Looking for a beautiful setting a traditional English afternoon tea? Look no further.
Chiddingstone Castle Tea Room is situated on the south side of the Castle, where you can choose to sit in the formed Buttery or outside in the sunny and shelted Grade II listed couryard.
We serve homemade cakes, scones, light lunches and cream teas on traditional vintage china.
We are proud to source as many of our ingredients as possible, fresh from the local area; with cakes from Edenbridge, chutneys from Eridge, Speldhurst sausages, wine and cider from Biddenden.
You can visit our Tea Rooms without paying admission to the Castle so do pop in whilst walking, cycling or exploring the local area.
The Tea Room is open during The Castle’s open season, April - Tuesday 31st October 2017 on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 11am - 5pm with last admission at 4.15pm.
If you would like to treat someone to a Full Afternoon Tea or Cream Tea in our Tea Room, please call +44 (0)1892 872 746 to buy a voucher.
Groups are always welcome in our Tea Room. If you are looking to host a Full Afternoon Tea or Cream Tea for a larger party, please do not hesitate to get in touch by calling +44 (0)1892 872 746.
