Learning
Our Education Department offers a hands-on approach to learning, where children and adults are encouraged to participate in activities relating to the collections of Denys Eyre Bower, the historic house, and the grounds.
These include Ancient Egyptian and Victorian Days for Primary Schools, Mini Museum Tours for Nursery Schools, and educational trails such as the Wheels of Time for families. We follow COVID-19 guidelines.

Chiddingstone Castle is delighted to be one of 48 museums in Kent that form the Wheels of Time group. These museums are linked by the travelling character Roamin’ Rex who is on a mission to learn about Kent by following his Wheels of Time map around the county. All who join him on his mission receive a Wheels of Time lanyard and collect badges from each venue along the way.
Families can visit the Castle and Collections on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, from Sunday 3rd April - Wednesday 26th October 2022, from 11am - 5pm.
