Chiddingstone Castle is an historic house, set in 35 acres of Kentish countryside, filled with extraordinary treasures collected over a life time by Denys Eyre Bower.
An Historic House
With Tudor origins and Victorian rooms the building was transformed in the 1800s by Henry Streatfeild to resemble a Medieval Castle.
In 1955 the Castle was bought by the late antiquarian Denys Bower to house his impressive collections of Japanese and Ancient Egyptian art and antiquties.
Sitting in 35 acres of grounds which include a Grade II* Orangery and fishing lake, Chiddingstone Castle is an award-winning visitor attaction and wedding venue.
